I make paintings about screens. Dark, reflective, familiar ratios. They catch your reflection and seduce you into the surface. Then they misbehave.  The surface lies, and the lie reveals itself when you move. Screens exploit this. So do my paintings. The difference is that I admit it. I'm building truer deceptions - surfaces that don't pretend to be honest. I’m trying to catch you between what your eyes report and what your body knows. That friction is where the work lives.
